Beachfront farm stay on São Jorge with Mount Pico views
Beachfront Grounds
Make It Happen Farm sits directly on a beachfront in Velas, with a small private beach a 5-minute walk away. The farm has a garden, sun terrace, picnic area, and an outdoor fireplace. Guests can watch live sport events in the shared lounge/TV area or cook outside at the barbecue facilities.
Rooms
Six double bungalows made of thick basalt sit across the sea from Mount Pico. Each bungalow has a seating area in front, a private bathroom, a kitchenette, and a balcony. Air-conditioned, soundproof, and allergy-free rooms are available throughout the property.
Dining
Every morning, the farm provides a freshly baked loaf of bread to each guest, along with eggs from the farm. The shared kitchen includes cookware and a washing machine, and the on-site minimarket sells wine, cheese, tuna, and homemade jam. Guests can use the barbecue, picnic area, and outdoor furniture for meals, or request grocery deliveries.
Leisure
The working farm keeps Fiona the donkey, Belley the goat, Pepa the pig, chickens, and a turkey. Free bicycles are available, along with bike tours, walking tours, cycling, and hiking. Board games and puzzles are available in the shared lounge, and sun loungers or beach chairs are provided.
Location
São Jorge Airport is 1 km away, the ferry terminal is nearby, and Igreja de Santa Bárbara is 6 km from the farm. Velas town centre and Jardim da República are 7 km away. The property offers free parking, car hire, luggage storage, laundry, and a 24-hour front desk.
